Meet Me On The Island is back on Friday, September 10!! We will have art, music, food, drink, dancing, and conversation and will be featuring The JR Clark Band.
Once again, we are partnering with WVPE to bring you an evening of fun, with music starting at 5:30 PM and running until 9:30PM. We will keep the museum open until 8 PM for viewing of Biennial 31 and Tyanna Buie, our two cutting-edge exhibitions of works by contemporary artists from our region.
In the past, tickets for Meet Me On The Island were free to SBMA and WVPE members, but this year out of concern for the health and safety of all of our visitors, we must be abundantly cautious about not over-crowding the island. For an accurate count of event attendees, we are pre-selling tickets for the nominal charge of $10.
